A small shop witha soft spot.
Milk + Moon Boutique is a baby boutique with postpartum doula care alongside it. Two halves of the same thought: that the beginning is tender, and that it should be easier.
Where it started
It started with a hospital bag. A friend packed one for someone she loved, and it turned out to be the single kindest thing anyone did for her that month — a bag already zipped by the door, with the soft robe and the tiny hat already in it.
Milk + Moon grew from that. The boutique holds the things that make the first days gentler: bags packed for mom and for baby, plant-based laundry and cleaning that is kind to newborn skin, swaddles and gowns and towels, and little toys worth keeping.
The doula side grew from the same place. Sitting with a new mother at 3am, holding the baby so she can sleep, folding a basket of tiny clothes, saying out loud that she is doing well — that work belongs beside the boutique, not somewhere else.
Chosen by hand
Every item is picked one at a time and kept in small quantities. If it is in the shop, it is because we would have wanted it ourselves.
Gentle on purpose
Plant-based laundry and cleaning, soft cotton, simple toys. Nothing loud, nothing harsh, nothing that has to be explained away.
Care that continues
The shop and the doula work are the same idea: that the person who just had a baby deserves looking after too.
